! My husband and I had to move unexpectedly last summer and we burned through 3 realtors before we lucked up and found Melissa. We needed to live in a very specific part of town and there weren't a lot of homes for sale in the area. I was stalking the few neighborhoods I knew we could afford in Milton. My husband and I found one house that we thought we wanted. We made an offer based on what we could pay (even though it was lower than asking). The seller didn't take the offer, but rather than telling us to bump up our asking price, she instead did some research and found out that the buyer wasn't being completely forthright in his description of the house. She instead encouraged us to walk away even though timing was tight. When I found another house that hadn't yet gone on the market but was being staged, I called Melissa (while she was on vacation - not nice of me, I know). She kept me calm and then proceeded to arrange for my husband and me to view the house before it ever hit the market. She knew I was determined to buy the property no matter what, but she still made sure that she got us the best deal possible and helped us throughout the negotiation process. She also stepped in and did the walk-through on the house we sold even though she wasn't our realtor in that transaction and received absolutely zero commission. She was absolutely exceptional. She's also nice and funny, which means that working with her is kind of like getting 2 cakes on your birthday. !! I live in FL and was selling my mother's home in GA when she passed away. My initial meeting with Melissa left me feeling like the property was in good hands. Melissa assured me that as the home moved through probate she would handle everything (even getting vendors in there to paint, change carpet, estate sale, cleaners, etc.) It took 3 months to move and during that time she bent over backwards to get all the necessary work needed to put on the market. Her assistant Ann was amazing too! It was stressful trying to get things accomplished from afar but Melissa handled everything like a pro! She is very trustworthy, professional and knows the market! I am sure I drove her crazy with my stressful texts but she responded right away and assured me that we got this and we did!
